a comic with zombies

I've been trying to do short comic vignettes about all my stories in order to try and improve! This is not really a comic per say cause' it lacks paneling...but okay! I'm really sorry about the lettering; I have terrible handwriting and i'm inexperienced with balloon placement and whatnot. I struggled a lot with consistency too.

This particular universe was inspired by a comic I read long ago that pointed out several cliches in recent postapocalyptic and military stuff. I'm not really looking to subvert these cliches necessarily; tropes are fun to play around with, and this is more like a love letter to those kinds of things. For the most part, Tsutomu Nihei's work was my inspiration(though it probably doesn't really show) because I was always really fascinated by how his worlds were so depressingly horrible and yet societies and people still thrived within them. Killzone is also a really obvious influence.

This took a pretty long time, and I'm a little disappointed I didn't work more with the backgrounds.
